Ingeteam supplies solar inverters for Mercury Renew projects – Energy Global

Ingeteam has already completed the delivery of 108 solar inverters manufactured in Brazil and 32 substations or power plants also assembled in the country.

The delivery was for two photovoltaic (PV) projects by Mercury Renew, a Grupo Comerc Energia company. The 80 MWp solar plant Brígida, which has been operational since April last year and was inaugurated in July by the Minister of Mines and Energy and the Minister of Tourism. The Born Norme solar plant with 130 MWp was also put into operation. Both plants are part of the same solar complex in the state of Pernambuco.

For these PV projects, Ingeteam has supplied 32 INGECON SUN MSK model power plants. Each contains various solar inverters, power transformers, medium-voltage switchgear, auxiliary service switchboards and auxiliary service transformers.

José Nardi, Business Unit Manager Solar at Ingerteam Brazil, emphasized: “These contracts are not only iconic projects for our subsidiary, but also great news for the industry and local employment in Brazil, as we are the only manufacturer of inverters to produce locally in the country .”
