Goodwe shows new solar equipment at home

The Chinese inverter manufacturer and the provider of Smart Energy Solution Goodwe, Goodwe, recently presented several new delicacies for new/ISH-HOME electrifications, an all-in-one-solar battery system.

All-in-one Esa Home Battery Battery

Among the solutions that Goodwe had exhibited in Intersolar Europe in Munich last month, the new single-phase ESA battery system with 3-10 kW/5-48 kWh was. 5 kWh or 8 kWh of battery modules can be used in the ESA system with up to six modules per stack.

Blackout protection functions offer a claimed switching time for securing operation of less than 4 milliseconds, which is quickly damn fast. The owners cannot see that a power failure takes place if they only use supported circuits at this point, which can be a double -edged sword, unless the system sends out a warning and the owner sees it.

According to Goodwe, the new ESA 6-layer protection architecture and advanced features such as AI-controlled AFCI interruption (AFCI) 3.0 offers. This type of protection is a type of circuit breaker that is designed for electrical fires by recognizing and interrupting arc errors in the electrical cable elevator.

An ESA is listed on the Australian website of Goodwe, but is shown in the form and functions of the product, which is displayed at Intersolar (shown above).

To get a general feeling of the company’s home battery, you can see the battery ratings from Goodwe Battery here. Incidentally, Solarquotes founder Finn Peacock was not a fan of GoodWe batteries (on the page of the ratings explains why) -but you can see the brands of Home batteries here, which he recommends here.

New EV charger – HCA G2

Goodwe also showed the second generation of his one and three-phase EV chargers of the AC- des HCA G2. The HCA G2 offers extended functions, including dynamic load compensation, which does not offer the original HCA. EV chargers represent a significant cargo when it breaks away at full tick, and a charger with dynamic load compensation can adjust how much power it is concerned so that it does not stumble the main breaker of a house if other devices are used.

Here you will find more details about the HCA G2. The HCA G2 is not yet listed on the Australian Goodwe website.

You can see what Australian owners of the company’s HCA devices think in our Goodwe EV charger ratings of the company, and EV Chargers compare here.

Mystery hot water heat pump

The company’s new all-in-one heat pump pump water system is located in the picture at the top left. No further detail was mentioned in Goodwes publication, and I couldn’t find it on the company’s Australian or global website. However, if you would like to learn about heat pumps along with information on brands and models that are currently available in Australia (and much more), read our guide for hot water heat pumps.

New (ISH) Hybrid inverter – ET G2

Recently, Goodwe has also started his three-phase hybrid inverter series of the ET G2 series, which was launched in Australia at the end of last year.

The ET G2 is available in 6-kW, 8 kW, 10 kW and 15 kW output capacities and offers an intelligent smart measuring device and a smart operating mode to maximize the self-consumption of solar energy and backup mode at UPS level (<10 MS) for power failures.

According to Goodwe, the ET G2 series for compatibility with high-performance solar modules with a maximum of 16-A input current per string was improved. The ET G2 is compatible with a number of batteries.

The data sheet for the ET G2 can be displayed here on the Australian website of Goodwe (and on the approved list of the CEC) list. You can also review reviews from Goodwe -Inverted by Australian owners. Up to this point and in general, Goodwe inverter has a good price-performance ratio and are well supported here in Australia. The company has an office in Melbourne.
