Remee introduces renewable vitality cables to the solar market
Remee Wire & Cable, a manufacturer of electronic wires and cables, has unveiled its new line of renewable energy cables specifically tailored to meet the needs of wind and solar energy.
The company states that its cables can be used in many applications required by photovoltaic systems, such as: B. in motor tracker cables for direction control of single-axis or two-axis solar modules. Solar panels use copper PV wires strung together, resulting in positive and negative PV wires at the end of the rows.
Copper PV wiring harnesses – or strings – route the energy generated by each row to the combo box (input), which is then carried by aluminum PV cables (output) to the inverter, which converts DC to AC. The inverter is then hooked up to a transformer to boost the voltage (low to medium) where it eventually ends up at the substation. Fiber optic cables are used for communication between motors and blocks of solar panels to a final data and / or MET station.
Wind turbine towers contain renewable energy cables, particularly various types of multi-core and single-core cables, including instrumentation, control, and power cables connected to transformers located in the nacelle or base of the tower.
