Ingeteam presents energy plant for giant solar and storage purposes
Ingeteam, an international technology group specializing in energy conversion, has presented its new INGECON SUN FSK power plant for large solar and battery storage systems. The station can achieve a medium voltage output power of 7.2 MW.
The company says the new station was designed to be as simple as possible to install and connect on site. The solution can be transported by land and sea, placed directly on a truck trailer, or secured in a 40-foot container so it can be installed anywhere in the world.
Ingeteam notes that flexibility is another benefit of their new solution – it can be integrated into one to four solar or battery inverters (1500 V DC or 1000 V DC) so that the output power range varies from 1 MW to 7.2 MW, which Ingeteam allows adaptation to all types of project configurations and sizes.
In addition to the inverters, the station also contains an LV / MV power transformer, a transformer oil tank, a medium-voltage switchgear, an auxiliary service panel and an auxiliary transformer in order to optimize as much space as possible.
The first units of the power plant were manufactured in Navarra, Spain and are already being delivered to various photovoltaic projects.
