Top solar inverter senders unveiled

For the tenth year in a row, two manufacturers in the global inverter ranking of Wood Mackenzie took first and second place – and the couple made 55% of the global inverter market in 2024.

While Europe and the United States recorded a decline in the inverters in 2024, growth in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region grew more than brew. 589 Gigawatt’s capacity (AC) was delivered in 2024 in accordance with the report – by 10%. And it was the Asian -Pacific space, which was led by China and took into account almost all of the growth.

2024 Solar inverter programs ranking

According to the company, the top 5 manufacturers are stacked.

1. Huawei

Chinas Huawei delivered 176 GWAC of alternating edges in 2024.

While solar inverter in Australia is not available as part of the Huawei brand, Huawei produces the ISTORE inverter for the Australian market, on which they are sold and supported by one of the longest-established national solar retailers in the country. The ISTORE inverter reviews of Australian customers here on solar quotas were generally positive, whereby the company has a rating of 4.9 stars on average.

2. Sungrow

Another Chinese company, Sungrow, delivered 148 GWAC capacities last year. The company ranked behind Huawei in China and Europe, but led in the USA, India and the Middle East.

Sungrow was a popular budget inverter in Australia, where the company has been presence for around 13 years. In our SungRow inverter reviews, the average rating throughout this time is 4.7 stars and 4.8 stars in the past two years -which has been a little longer than ISTORE inverter were available here.

3. Ginlong Solis

Solis to his friends and another Chinese manufacturer, the company, took third place again. Wood Mackenzie did not provide 2024 programs for Solis in his publication1. But like some information, how far behind other companies behind the top two, Solis celebrated 100 GW+ programs *since it was founded in 2005.

Solis is another budget brand, which is well supported in Australia, and another that has long been here in 2011. With regard to the review of Solis inverter Here on Solarquotes, the company has an average of 4.5 stars and 4.4 stars in the past 2 years.

4. Growatt

You will receive a guess that you are Growat’s home country. Yes, China again – in fact, nine of the ten best companies are Chinese. Growatt rose to fourth place in the global ranking for 2024 and achieved his position from 2022. Prailions were also not found in the publication of World Cup. In view of the corporate states that no provider reached the market share of more than 5% via the two top, this would be done by a maximum of 30 GW shipments by 2024.

Growatt is another established player in the inverter production area, which was founded in 2011 and enters the Australian market at about the same time. Our “Inverter Reviews” page from Growatt indicates a total of 4.4 star evaluation of Australian customers and 4.7 stars in the past two years.

5. Sineng

The rise of Growatt meant Sineng’s descent of No. 4 in 2023 – rounded up the list. If you haven’t heard of this brand yet, this is probably because it did not allow Sinengus inverter for discounts and network connections in Australia through the Clean Energy Council, and there was never so far that I can judge it.

Sineng was founded in 2012 and has manufacturing facilities in China and India. In addition to solar change judges for use in residential areas and as with the other companies above, Sineng also produces devices for commercial and large applications.

Quantity vs. quality

So these are the ranking, but the amount is not always quality in the eyes of Australian installers who have to install and support these equipment in the coming years.

You can see how the companies mentioned above were classified by more than 160 local installers in the Solarquotes Installer Choice Awards for the best solar inverter in 2025 and determine which inverter brands are currently recommended by Solarquotes.
