Solar Analytics has long offered some of the best energy monitoring software on the market, but some customers have been plagued by exceptions and poor customer care recently. We examined what’s going on.
We were longtime fans of solar analytics that offer a solar monitoring app that offers users insight into their solar, the ability to diagnose errors and control to optimize performance.
However, a handful of solar analysis customers have recently turned to us for turbulence in their once trusted software.
A customer who asked to be called Krubi had problems, including exceptions that were also reported to us by other solar analytics users.

Solar analytics points the finger to 3G

An unfortunate customer
However, the recommended corrections were not much help for Krabi.

The customer service also disintegrates
Solar analytics customers not only have failures in technology, they also have them in customer service.
Several customers told us that despite several complaints about the problems they have experienced, they hardly received an answer.
I have also submitted complaints about unanswered tickets or long delays for many other companies in the sector – these problems extend over the solar industry. Catch Power recruited and all other manufacturers of the solar industry to bring more people on board.
Better watch Wattwatchers
Solar analytics that were used to award the actual hardware that we have installed in Switchboards from Wattwatchers, and in my experience this hardware has happened to come into the air for years.

The only picture I have from a DIN Rail Mounted Analytics unit that was only taken to record serial numbers. The other side had burned a hole.
Top technology tip: If your analytics device plays and you want to reset it by switching off again, you have to be patient. 30 seconds is not enough to switch these units completely, even if the lights go out on the device, keep the functionality to drive through short power failures. Turn it off and come back 5 minutes later to do it again.
The figures can be a fairly eye irrigation if they have 200 kW solar in a nursing home.
Still a useful tool
Although some customers are confronted, I personally still find solar analytics as a useful tool. For example, we recently had a customer with a sun problem. The cause was some large trees on the middle strip, but the symptoms were mainly about perception. While the installer had gone over and higher to deliver a great system, consumers existed in terms of their performance, which could simply not be released by the installer, the inverter manufacturer or my own judgment. Having an independent source of truth was a great help.
Solar analytics is ideal for individual or fleet monitoring with a unique ability to compare the performance for your system with others in the district. This means that the respective weather becomes part of the calculation through its location.

Analytics does not send false warnings if the network carries out random restrictions for flexible exports or backstop control, but it will mark performance problems with your solar if something fails or if the performance drops from a growing tree due to the shadow.

There are many alternatives to monitoring such as power sensor or clipsal cortex. However, if you have been saved with solar analytics for years, it is a brilliant resource to check the actual performance of your system.
Long -term data is not necessarily and that is invaluable if you have to make a guarantee claim to worsening the panel or about promised sales quotes.
